I booked and paid for an ocean view room and was given a different room on arrival. There was no explanation as to why the room was changed or anything. Once we arrived to the room, I informed them that I was supposed to be in an ocean view room and they told me there was none available because they were being remodeled! They also tried to pretend that they had given me an upgraded room in their new hotel. But the room they took me to matched the pictures on the website except no ocean view. So they were lying! They refused to give me a refund when I requested one and I received no kind of discount or apology. The manager said she would handle the problem and I never heard from her again.
Do not stay here! They are scammers! The pictures and descriptions online do not match what you are actually given upon checkin

It was fine. But terrible neighborhood. Air conditioning sounded like a freight train. Their restaurant was very nice.

Paid way too much, room was ok, paid extra for courtyard view and didn’t even have a window, no frig, one chair for 2 guests, also was charged $60. for a ride from airport to hotel which should have been a courtesy!!! Denise was pleasant. Changed our room to one with a window so now we had a view of the roof!!! Not worth the money at all and wouldn’t stay again!

The hotel was beautiful. The reataurant had great food and drinks, a little pricey but typical for hotels. Parked just across the property and came out to our car covered in bird crap. Would be nice if they could figure out a way to deter the birds from that area but otherwise considering we were in belize city the hotel was great.

Web site showed wrong location. Room not available. Gave room without a window in it. Change rooms to two beds because king unavailable. In process of renovating, has potential. Wait for everything. New meaning to Belize time.

Not at all what I was expecting. The area felt isolated. There was no beach. Dining options were limited. I arranged for transportation from the airport and no one showed.

This is a beautiful and clean hotel however the design of the room is not the most functional for use. There were no hooks anywhere in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes, no where in the shower to place toiletries and the light switch was also in the middle of the room and not by the door which makes for a odd experience when coming back to the room at night. There is also what appears to look like a hot tub attached to the pool which is not a hot tub but just a mini pool, the amount of people who dipped their hands in to be disappointed and confused by the cold temperature was comical. The restaurant on property was delicious and the gym was great.

We booked a room based on the photos on *******; they showed a brand new hotel with new rooms. When we arrived we were given a room in what looked like an old run down motel. When I showed the photos I was told that “that is the hotel across the street, same hotel but a higher price”. To which I said “what do you show pictures of that but put us in the old me? That’s false advertising”. They just shrugged and said that they are going to do some upgrades… after complaining to 3-4 people at the hotel they reluctantly moved us to a newer room across the street. Once we were moved everything was fine but having to jump through hoops to make that happen was very frustrating and unnecessary, they should have given us the room we originally booked.
